After You Go Home
We like to see babies within 24-48 hours from the time you leave the hospital, and schedule at least 2 appointments within the first week. Although it seems like we are hovering, these early days are important and full of various challenges while learning what is normal for your baby. Remember there are no bad questions! We are here to support you and your newborn to keep them happy and healthy.
Before You Deliver
Get to know your doctor before you deliver! We offer free appointments for getting to know new patients, so if you aren’t already a Green Tree Family, call to arrange for a meet the doctor. If you are already a Green Tree family, you can contact the office to notify us of your due date and hospital where you will be delivering. You’re welcome to come in to discuss any concerns that you have regarding your baby.
After You Deliver
If you’ve set up your baby as a patient at Green Tree, please contact us by phone or through the portal to let us know you’ve delivered. This allows us to touch base with you to see how things are proceeding after your delivery. We also have computer access at both University of Michigan and at St. Joseph in Ann Arbor to follow things virtually. Our close working relationship with hospitalist groups at both hospitals to make the transition from Hospital to Home seamless.
