Dr. Kelly Katona, M.D.
Dr. Katona grew up in southeast Michigan, specifically the cities of Sterling Heights and Shelby Township. She went to college at Oakland University, where she studied Biomedical Sciences.
She then attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine, where she was inspired to pursue a career in pediatrics. She completed her pediatric residency at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Katona is eager to care for and build relationships with children and their families as a primary care pediatrician. Some of her specific interests include adolescent health, newborn care, early literacy, and vaccine hesitancy.
When not at work, she enjoys a variety of hobbies such as reading, exercising, baking, and traveling. She cherishes quality time with her family, friends and husband.
