Dr. Ashley “Aja” Bean, M.D.

Dr. Bean grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, but has spent the last 15 years between the East Coast and the Midwest.

She was a teacher for two years prior to receiving her Medical Degree from Case Western Reserve University. She then completed her residency at Columbia University.

Dr. Bean previously worked in a private practice in New York City before moving back to Michigan. She joined Green Tree as a “locum” Doctor and truly shares our Mission and Values.

She is especially interested in newborn care, maternal well-being, breastfeeding, and parenting.

She lives a few blocks from downtown with her husband and children, and enjoys the Ann Arbor pastry scene and all that Ann Arbor has to offer.
